SUMMARY:“Connections” - Group Painting Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Anna Gandolfi\, Gerardo Marazzi\, Stefano Notarmuzi\, Pauldavìd \nGroup painting exhibition curated by Rosa Orsini \nOn display at the Angelica Gallery from May 11 to May 15\, 2026\, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM / 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM \nThe exhibition\, organized at the Galleria Angelica by art critic Rosa Orsini and produced in collaboration with the cultural association “Orsini Pubblicazioni Arte Contemporanea\,” presents a selection of works by four Italian artists: Anna Gandolfi\, Gerardo Marazzi\, Stefano Notarmuzi\, and Pauldavìd. \nA visual dialogue comprising approximately 40 works\, presented as a simultaneous exhibition of four mini-solo shows\, designed to give each artist the opportunity to showcase a significant portion of their body of work\, thereby providing a deeper understanding of their individual artistic languages\, styles\, and themes. The aim\, therefore\, is to understand in order to recognize\, allowing the viewer to immerse themselves in the works as they seek out the artist’s personal and unique interpretation of the subjects\, capturing their form\, details\, and color transitions. The themes explored throughout the gallery are primarily landscape-based. We move from Anna Gandolfi’s delicate watercolors\, where flowers and pastoral landscapes take center stage\, to Stefano Notarmuzi’s lyrical painterly interpretations of Abruzzo’s landscapes\, and on to Gerardo Marazzi’s evocative depictions of Eastern scenes\, born of dreamlike sensory memories. From this predominantly naturalistic exhibition\, we move on to Pauldavìd’s figurative works. The scene changes. On display is a selection of expressionist paintings—a figurative style that draws inspiration from brutalist\, eccentric\, and visionary art\, characterized by vibrant colors and a strong visual impact\, which places contemporary humanity at the center of its exploration.
