DESCRIPTION:The new exhibition at the Angelica Library showcases some of the most beautiful volumes celebrating the importance of plants. A journey through works that highlight the significance of botanical studies between the 16th and 18th centuries. \n\nThe Angelica Library is opening a new bibliographic exhibition dedicated to the beauty of plants. The ancient herbariums on display\, created by the most renowned physicians and botanists of the past\, open up to reveal their splendid illustrations. From Mattioli’s famous *Dioscoride* to Robert Morison’s *Plantarum historiae universalis*: a journey spanning nearly two centuries through the history of botany\, offering a chance to contemplate the beauty of nature on paper.   \nThe exhibition will be open during the library’s regular hours (Monday through Friday\, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.).
