DESCRIPTION:Curated by Francesco Ciaffi\nOPENING: WEDNESDAY\, MAY 20\, 2026\, AT 6:00 PM \nOn Wednesday\, May 20\, at 6:00 p.m.\, in the exhibition spaces of the Galleria Angelica at Via di Sant’Agostino 11 in Rome\, a major exhibition dedicated to the work of the late Lino Tardia\, who passed away on November 21\, 2021\, will open.\nThe exhibition\, curated by Francesco Ciaffi and organized by the Edarcom Europa gallery in collaboration with the artist’s family\, is intended as a comprehensive\, though not exhaustive\, tribute to the long and adventurous career of the renowned Sicilian painter\, born in the late 1930s\, who arrived in Rome at a very young age to study at the Academy and\, beginning in the 1960s\, became a leading figure in the capital’s cultural and social life while simultaneously participating in solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad.\nThe exhibition is accompanied by two major catalogs: one published on the occasion of the major retrospective held at Palazzo Venezia in 2009\, edited by Claudio Strinati and Andrea Romoli Barberini; and the other published by Silvana Editoriale shortly after the artist’s death\, featuring essays by Aldo Gerbino and Franco Campegiani.\nThe exhibition will be open to the public free of charge through May 29. \nIINFORMATION\nEXHIBITION: Lino Tardia | Mediterranean Echoes\nDATES: May 20–29\, 2026\nVENUE: Galleria Angelica\nADDRESS: Via di Sant’Agostino 11\, Rome\nEXHIBITION OPENING: Wednesday\, May 20\, 6:00 PM\nEXHIBITION HOURS: Daily 11:00 AM–7:00 PM – Free admission\nINFO: 06.7802620 – www.edarcom.it
