SUMMARY:STEFANO NOTARMUZI “Lyrical Expressions”
DESCRIPTION:The Abruzzo painter presents a body of works from his latest repertoire devoted to the representation of his native landscape. A serene and poetic gaze on the jagged mountain peaks\, on marinas caressed by the wind\, enchanted and absorbed in reproducing their beauty. The painting whispers sensations\, ignites the ancestral memory of the bond with nature even if the human presence is total absence\, respectful from the outside of the changing landscape scenery. Along the walls of the gallery\, in the sequence of paintings we find again that contemplative state\, dragged by the pictorial lyricism that denotes Stefano Notarmuzi’s pictorial figure. \nSolo painting exhibition curated by Rosa Orsini \nVernissage Feb. 1\, 2025 5:30 p.m. wine tasting of the Casale del Giglio winery.

SUMMARY:What's gotten into your head
DESCRIPTION:‘The latest project by photographer Roberto Campanaro\, with the irreverent and ironic title ‘CHE TI SEI MESSA IN TESTA’ (WHAT YOU’VE MADE YOURSELF INTO YOUR HEAD)\, collects 42 portraits of women shot in the studio wearing dresses\, headgear and jewellery designed and constructed by the author himself. Roberto Campanaro’s dreamlike world is revealed through saturated colours\, golden hues\, red and black\, which enhance the theatricality of the compositions and the expressive richness of the portraits. For the staging\, the author paints backdrops or composes them with fabrics that create transparencies and nuances\, harmonising with the scenography dominated by the face of the woman portrayed. Campanaro reworks archetypes of the female universe through evocative and surreal portraits\, where reality and fantasy intertwine to create visionary and poetic combinations. \nThis exhibition is an invitation to immerse oneself in an imaginative journey\, where art becomes a vehicle for new visions and connections between dream and reality. During the event\, visitors will be able to be portrayed by Campanaro on the set installed in the gallery\, and all will receive a gift from the hands of the photographer. From an interview with the artist: ‘I fall in love with faces\, the depth of their gazes\, the intense expression from which a soul transpires. In photographing women\, I try to pay homage to their charm because beauty is woman’. ‘I have always observed women trying to capture the details of their special way of taking care of themselves’. ‘While designing this work\, what I reflected on became suggestions for the construction of images\, sometimes surreal or fantastic\, which ended up taking possession of my thoughts and sometimes my dreams’. OPENING DAYS AND OPENING HOURS TUESDAY TO SATURDAY: 11.00/13.00 – 15.00/19.30 SUNDAY: 13.00/20.00 MONDAY: CLOSED OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION TO THE PUBLIC 6 NOVEMBER VERNISSAGE SATURDAY 9 NOVEMBER at 18.00 FINISSAGE SUNDAY 24 NOVEMBER at 18.00 From 12 to 15 and from 19 to 22 November portraits are possible in the gallery by appointment

SUMMARY:The colors of feelings
DESCRIPTION:Maria Pacheco Cibils The Colors of Feelings Curated by Francesca Barbi Marinetti Inauguration October 14\, 2024 6 p.m. RAW Event October 21\, 2024 6 p.m. Galleria Biblioteca Angelica Via di Sant’Agostino 11 – Rome Until October 30\, 2024 On October 14\, 2024 at 6 p.m. 00 inaugurates the exhibition I colori dei sentimenti (The colors of feelings) by Maria Pacheco Cibils\, curated by Francesca Barbi Marinetti and with texts by Francesca Barbi Marinetti and Barbara Volpi\, at the rooms of the Galleria della Biblioteca Angelica (MiBACT)\, a prestigious exhibition space used for contemporary art exhibitions. On display are 24 paintings belonging to the artist’s latest painting cycle and a multisensory installation accompanied by Niccolò Di Ferdinando’s sound track “Antifigure.” As curator Francesca Barbi Marinetti writes\, “The experimentation of the Argentine-Portuguese artist Pacheco Cibils has been moving for years in the direction of overcoming the traditional conception of form\, with full-bodied and bright chromatic mixtures\, which strives to offer an investigation of the energies that govern matter in an increasingly holistic conception of art. The themes that inspire it fall mainly within the sphere of ancestral and archetypal knowledge: the main elements of life\, earth\, fire\, air and water in macro and microcosms\, the foundational dualisms of existence\, such as light and darkness or male and female. To the cycle The Colors of Feelings belong 24 canvases of large\, medium and small size\, which can be succinctly described as abstract and material\, but the chromatic vigor\, texture\, rhythm and depth that the pictorial matter takes on – which for the artist always refers to an explicit thematic research area – recovers an unequivocal symbolism of colors\, and the same pictorial gesture\, repeated on multiple layers\, tells in painting the complex journeys of the wave of love emotions. […] The works of Maria Pacheco Cibils are a cross-section of archetypal figures of love\, each representative of that concentration of celebration\, passion or bewilderment. To connect\, to recognize\, to relaunch is the due subjective homage that each is called upon to make\, to complete a discourse\, interior and universal at once\, that transcends and will always transcend every trend in history.” And in Barbara Volpi’s text\, “In the beginning everything is emotion\, sensory vibration that is transformed in the con-tact with the other into an intertwined emotional kaleidoscope\, in which joy\, fear\, sadness\, anger\, disgust are mixed together to gradually unravel\, touch after touch\, caress after caress\, in the loving embrace of the one who cares for us and with his hands shapes our feelings.
