Once again this year, the Angelica Library is participating in “Domenica di Carta,” an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Culture that aims to highlight the heritage of state archives and libraries.
On Sunday, October 4, the Library will be open to the public on a special basis from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Inside the Monumental Hall, visitors will be able to view the bibliographic exhibition “Ancient Herbariums in the Angelica Library”; in addition, to mark the birthday of St. Francis (October 4, 1226), a display case dedicated to him will be set up, featuring some beautiful illustrations preserved in the volumes of the Ancient Collection.
Admission is free, and no reservation is required.
