For centuries, alchemy has been a field of study and experimentation that has fascinated scholars and thinkers from different cultures and backgrounds, significantly influencing the scientific and philosophical thinking of entire generations. This exhibition traces the history of ancient alchemy, touching on the works and figures that contributed to the progress and spread of alchemical studies and practices: men and women attracted to the world of the occult and esotericism, the Far East and mysticism, driven by an ardent curiosity that sought to transcend the boundaries of knowledge. The exhibition will be open until Friday, November 7, 2025, during the Library’s opening hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Admission is free.
